Located in the old access to San Bernardino, a few kilometers from the Paraguayan capital, Asunción, the Highlands real estate project stands as an architectural jewel that promises to redefine the concept of luxury, nature, sports, and comfort in an unparalleled environment.

The facade and views of Highlands have been carefully designed to present an interesting duality. The facades that surround the beach have a light and subtle design, which seeks to merge with the natural environment, creating a serene and peaceful experience. In contrast, the exterior facades exhibit more corporeal volumes that reflect the expression of modern architecture.
The landscaping surrounding the Highlands is an integral part of its appeal, designed to enhance the biodiversity of the area and create spaces that invite connection with nature. Native and complementary plants, such as gardenias, lilies, jasmines and Bismarck palms, have been used to stimulate all of the residents' senses.
The lagoon with Crystal Lagoons® technology is one of the main attractions of the project, standing out as the lagoon with the largest beach area in the world, with 27,838 m2 of water and 21,637 m2 of sand surrounding 100% of the lagoon. This provides a natural look with no white edges and an idyllic space to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
The homes that will be built on the lots overlooking the beach or on the condominium blocks will maintain architectural coherence throughout the entire development. The Highlands Club House brings together top-notch amenities, including a beach bar, fitness center, grilling area and a children's play area.
The project is developed in two stages. The first stage focuses on the construction of the residential area of the lots, townhouses and the lagoon. The lots range in size from 421 to 1,210 square meters, with prices ranging from $37,047 to $302,558. In addition, modern design townhouses are offered that will be delivered completely built, steps from the lagoon, with prices starting at $179,850.
The second stage of the project includes the marketing of macrolots for the construction of six avant-garde design apartment buildings with privileged views of the lagoon. During this phase, the addition of a shopping and dining promenade is also planned, as well as an independent boutique hotel overlooking the lagoon and its own beach, all designed to offer an exceptional level of safety and comfort.
The project began construction in October 2023, and the first stage is expected to be completed in January 2026. Highlands is developed by Petrohué Real Estate, a real estate company led by Chilean engineer Martín Tampe, with a successful 13-year track record in Chile and Paraguay. The architectural design is carried out by the prestigious Gould Architecture studio, directed by the renowned architect Cristian Gould.
